What are my options if I want to move my Tonal?
There are four (4) types of moving options you can choose from to relocate your Tonal:
Same home detaching and installing
If you're rearranging your space or giving your home-gym a makeover, this option is for you. We’ll help you move Tonal to a new spot in your current home with ease.
Reinstallation only
You uninstall Tonal yourself, package it, and transport it to your new place if you’ve moved, and we take care of reinstallation.
Local move
Relocating within 50 miles? Let us handle the uninstallation and the reinstallation! We are unable to transport your Tonal, but have some instructions on how to prepare for transport.
Long-distance move
Moving more than 50 miles away? Enjoy the benefits of a local move, but you'll need to transport Tonal to your new home yourself.
Tonal Relocation Journey
Regardless of which move is for you, the journey is essentially the same:
Let’s dive into the relocation journey a little more.
Get your kit: Work out what kit you need using our relocation tool (coming soon!) if you haven’t already. Make sure you order your kit well in advance of your move–we need to know at least three (3) weeks ahead of time.
Nailing down the logistics: We’ll work with you and our installation partners to set up your uninstallation and/or reinstallation appointments. In the meantime, it’s a good idea to think about where you want Tonal installed in your new place and make sure it’s compatible.
Uninstallation day: Either our installation partners will come and uninstall Tonal, or you’ll do it yourself.
Pack it up for transport: You’ll need to keep your wall mount, as well as your smart accessories, and bring it all to your new place. Then, you and Tonal set off on a whirlwind adventure to the new place!
Reinstallation day: the installation team will come out to your new place and get Tonal situated. Make sure you have your kit handy on the day.
Why can’t I move and install Tonal myself?
Moving Tonal might seem doable, but trust us, this complex piece of machinery needs some TLC from authorized Tonal installers. They are trained to ensure proper installation and minimize the risk of unexpected issues during your workouts.
Moreover, using old hardware during relocation can be risky due to natural wear and tear over time. For peace of mind, stick to our relocation kits that include new hardware. Remember, any damage from improper handling isn't covered by Tonal's warranty.
If you’re still keen to do the whole move yourself, we’ll need you to sign a Release of Liability waiver, and this can affect your warranty coverage.

The original and new installation addresses (if applicable).
The best shipping address for your relocation kit (we recommend shipping to the original installation location).
The key dates for your move. Let us know if you have specific uninstallation dates or a date range, and we'll do our best to accommodate you!
Also, any information you have about the new installation location will be helpful. Our team will do a final compatibility check on-site, so the new space must meet our installation requirements beforehand.
