Below, you can find answers to frequently asked questions about taxes on your Tonal membership.  

How are tax rates determined?

Tax rates can vary by state, county, and city, and are calculated according to your billing address and the applicable rate when you provide your billing zip code, which occurs when you set up your membership and update your credit card information. These amounts may change over time depending on local tax requirements. For more information, please refer to your state’s website. 

What happens if applicable taxes become a requirement for my state?

If applicable taxes become required in your state, we’ll add the taxes to your membership automatically. Make sure your billing zip code is correct so you aren’t charged for any taxes if you move from another state. To update your billing address and zip code, sign in to the Tonal Subscription Manager using your Tonal profile login.

Does the Tonal membership fee include tax?

No. The price of Tonal membership we advertise doesn’t include applicable taxes

If applicable taxes apply to you, they will be listed separately on your monthly invoice. Your Tonal membership may be subject to various taxes in some states (governed by your state’s sales tax laws).

Where can I see what I’m being charged?

Your monthly invoice will include all charges, including your membership and any applicable tax. You can find your past invoices on the Tonal mobile app or by signing in to the Tonal Subscription Manager using your Tonal profile login.

 How do I get my Tonal membership invoices?

You can use the Tonal mobile app or your trainer to access the Tonal Subscription Manager to view and print past invoices or set up to receive a monthly statement to your email. 

What do I do if I’m charged the wrong tax amount?

If you think you’ve been charged the wrong amount of tax, please give us a call at 855-MY-TONAL.

How can I update my billing information for my Tonal membership?

You can update your billing information by accessing the Tonal Subscription Manager or by scanning the QR code found in the Profile & Account section on your Tonal.
